The Scotsman MC1448 is a 48” modular cube ice machine with 1400 lb. of daily ice production. It is air-cooled. This machine is a part of the Scotsman Prodigy Elite series—a revamped version of the Prodigy Plus series, which features real-time diagnostics via the ICELINQ app, upgraded sensors that enhance cleanability and durability, and a preservation mode that maximizes uptime and notifies users of potential issues.

This ice machine makes medium or small ice cubes. The official dimensions for the medium cubes are .9” x .9” x .9”, and the official dimensions of the small cubes are .9” x .9” x .4”. Cube ice is the classic ice shape; they’re perfect for cooling mixed or carbonated drinks. Cube ice is also used in ice displays and a variety of other foodservice operations.
